I found the Love of my life on yahoo personals. I recemdy to everyone it is a great way to find your best friend and the love of your life. We are planning on moving in with each other in a couple of months and marriage down the road. Thank you Yahoo Persoanls.

A new user isn't going to do research on Internet dating, they're just going to click that link to create an account. Most of the people who use this site are angry about their internet dating experience. These employees of Yahoo who have been posting these reviews are wasting their time by posting on this website.

What's more, I used to post on the Yahoo News Discussion boards (before Yahoo closed these boards), and I had seen some members posting out of place, positive comments about Yahoo Personals on the old News Discussion Boards. It's plain to see that Yahoo's current marketing strategy is to spread a positive word of mouth about it's personals website.

Take a serious look at this review website (edatereview.com). There has been millions of people who have been members of Yahoo personals and there's only been 300 reviews written by former members. Then take into consideration that a fair amount of these reviews have nothing to do with the Yahoo Personals website. Really, what do you have?

If you're a guy, just stay away from internet dating. Most guys who use these dating sites don't have any luck. They can't find dates and they're lucky if they get a response to their sent emails. Most of the reviews written on edatereview.com are from these type of men.

A guy can get good at using these dating websites if he has the right information. It's at this point that you have to check the site's membership to see if it's worth your time. I for exapmle, on Yahoo Personals there are only seven members who I can successfully date, meaning I'm compatible with them and they're compatible with me. So, It's not worth it for me to pay a membership fee.

As a reasonable and prudent dater who's in control of himself and practices common sense, he should search the site and see if it's worthwhile for him to pay for a membership.

Or... You can be like Barbra from Tigard, Or. She lost her nose, her pinky finger, and her Husband left her after 8 years of Marriage. Yet, Yahoo Personals helped her overcome those odds and she found her soulmate. Thanks Yahoo, you really know how to pull our emotional strings.

If Yahoo wants a real improvment, then they should change the layout of their site to make it more appealing to women. In addition, they could offer a free 1 week membership to the women on their website.

Up until a month ago I always checked edatereview.com for new posts. I decieded to check this site today and I was blown away to see that YAHOO PERSONALS colum has added nearly 75 new reviews.

Let's consider that a month ago there were less than 250 reviews, and Yahoo Personals had a 1.80 rating. Now, Yahoo Personals has 313 reviews and a 2.13 rating. I think it's plain to see that someone is doctoring most of these 5 star reviews for Yahoo Personals.

Get a clue... We're not stupid!

OK, I was in a car accident in 1999 and was paralized in the right side. With that being said, I had no hope for finding "Mr. Right". Then one day in 2004 while checking my e-mail, I found a web site about online dating. I tried it out after being sceptical at first. I figured since I am not able to be around people that much and guys can be very judgemental, I would give it a shot. I got plenty of responses, and I gave a few a chance but no luck. I had just about given up hope when I got a response and an e-mail address from a guy. I wrote his e-mail address down and got off the computer. But I just had a feeling in my gut that I should respond, so I e-mailed him and that started a wonderful thing. We e-mailed a few times, and then decided to meet. We met and sparks flew!!! We totally clicked on all levels! He had a foot problem, so we could kind of relate. We "dated" for a couple months, got engaged, and then got married January 15, 2005! We have now been married for 2 years and plan on many more happy years.

I know you must be thinking, "Oh, she is one of the lucky few" but "Mr. Right" IS out there, you just have to find him. ;o)

After using Yahoo Personals for just one week, I found a very nice gentleman to share my life with. I'm 62, recently divorced, and definitely did not want to do the "bar scene". I love Yahoo personals. I did try a few other sites, but I really liked Yahoo the best. I had someone specific in mind and this is the perfect site to find that special someone. I was married for 9 1/2 years and sadly divorced. I was on my own for many years and finally decided to put aside the stereotype that internet dating is for losers who don't have any personality and can not meet anyone. I decided to take a positive approach and think that this could broaden the search for that special someone who I would not normally have the chance to meet. I know who I am attracted to physically so I specified(when I say specific, LOL I mean specific, eye color, height, body type!) who I was interested in, and better yet asked for them to live within 25 miles of me and to attend church regularly. I had two choices, the first one I was not attracted to, the second picture was a bit hard to see, but I thought he looked handsome. I contacted him and did not hear back for almost two months so I had thought that he was involved with someone else. One day, I was cleaning out my email in box and noticed an email that said, "I recieved your response". I had skipped over it previously thinking that this was spam mail, for whatever reason I had not deleted it and was saving it for when I had more time to double check. Sure enough, it was Michael responding back to me!!!! He had responded to me only a few days after I had emailed him, I had just overlooked it. I replied back to him and asked him if he was still single I would like to get to know him better. We emailed for the first week, talked on the phone for the next three weeks, and then finally went on our first date. we have been inseparable ever sense. He asked me to marry him after 6 months of dating, we got married about a year later. We have now been married almost two years in April. He is the best thing that has ever come into my life for my boys and I. Plus a bonus!!!! He has two girls, and I have always wanted girls so things couldn't have worked out better. I am so grateful for Yahoo and giving a chance to introducing couples who normally would not cross paths. Michael is a dream, and dreams can come true! :0)

I had just gotten out of a very long term relationship and had to start dating again, something I never thought I would have to do again. A co-worker suggested that I create a profile on Yahoo!Personals as she did and had met some potential people that way. So I did. I was very sceptical of all the online dating and never would think I would meet anyone and also scared for my safety just because of some stories I have heard. After creating my profile on Yahoo! Personals I sent out about 5 ice breakers. I didn't have a picture on my profile yet so I wasn't expecting may responses. A couple of hours later I had 1 response out of the 5 ice breakers I sent out. I responded back and we both subscribed to Yahoo! Personals and exchanged some emails. After a couple of days of emailing we gave each other our phone numbers and talked for hours everyday for the next week or so. I felt comfortable at the time meeting him so we made arrangements to met. It came to the day we were supposed to met and I got really nervous so I called him and told him my grandmother had gotten a flat tire and I had to go help her, so we rescheduled. We met out for dinner and goofy golfing. We had a great time so made another date and another date and another date. Now 3 years later after meeting on Yahoo! Personals we are engaged to be married on November 3, 2007. I can't thank Yahoo! Personals enough for matching me and my fiance. If there is any advise I can give that sceptical person about online dating is that it obviously works, yes you do need to be cautious and careful. Like drive your own car for the first couple of dates to give yourself time to get the know the person. I just want to thank Yahoo! Personals again, I couldn't be happier in my life.

With I could assign a negative number. I'm sure many have noticed the flood of "positive" messages bragging up Yahoo personals, and you can be sure that they originate from Yahoo, judging from the blatantly contrived style. Well, you can be sure my evaluation comes from a real person who was foolish enough to try Yahoo, although smart enough not to renew. Your chances are quite slim for finding a genuinely nice person with good morals, a healthy emotional and mental condition, and a clear idea of exactly what they want in a relationship. Yahoo and Match have become dumping grounds for the emotionally unstable, the fickled, the super-picky, the socially introverted, and otherwise maladjusted personalities. It's a rip-off and disappointment for both men and women, although the nutcases out there deserve to piss each other off. If you want to pay someone to ignore you 99% of the time and for the other 1% to be stuck-up or emotionally wrecked, this is the site for you! Otherwise, save your $$$.

After being married for 26 yrs, I found my self back out in the dating scene. I was only on the yahoo personals for about three weeks when I met that special someone. I have never been so happy as I am now!! Hi,my name is Robin, I was newly single after being married for 25 years,I didn't know how to open up to the dateing scene.I was reluctant to join the dateing sites,but i tried anyway.I got alot of flirts,some interesting some scary.I learned real quick to fallow my heart.I was very nervouse being 42,and a mom of 4 young kids who would be interested!I was surprized at how many men were.I've met a couple of guys and they were all very nice,This last guy is very special!We would never had met if we wouldn't have joined Yahoo Personals even though we only lived 32 miles apart.I don't know how serious this relationship will go,but I'm hopeing it will last for a very long time!People tell him he's crazy to get involved with a woman with 4 young kids,and I tell him the same thing.He is the best thing to happen to my girls and I.He says he is happy and I know my girls and I are.Sometimes you just need to follw your heart and let your guard down!
