I have been on several internet dating sites in the past. I found them all to have similarities. One had a few decent results, but the rest were trash. The crap that True.com hands out is obviously a pack of lies. At their prices, they simply CANNOT check people out. You have to go to a regular brick and mortar dating agency like Valenti International, meet their standards, and lay thousands of dollars on them to get the results that people want from free or low cost dating sites.

If an internet site charges your credit card after you have given notice to cancel, just call your credit card company and have them quit paying and let the credit card company handle the complaint against the website.

I have been male and female, young and middle aged, straight, bisexual and lesbian/gay in the free internet dating sites I have joined. I learned a lot that way from many different angles. I learned that men have a very hard time getting any kind of decent results. It's actually easier for gay male to find another gay male that for a hetero male to find a decent woman on these websites. Women will be deluged with email from losers and worse. I have also written many different reviews about those experiences under numerous names on this website. I have given ratings from 1 star to 5 stars, depending on results I got. Only certain types of females will get good enough results to truthfully rate any dating website as 5 stars.

I was educated to find out what a bunch of wingnuts the UK women were when I took out a month of membership on Dating Direct. A chain link fence should be erected all around the UK and have the place declared the world's biggest insane asylum. I once considered a trip to the UK, but now I will definitely be going back to France again. There are several times fewer people using internet dating in France, and as they tend to be more educated and just plain human than the Brits, I would say that internet dating is at its maximum levels in societies that are fairly wacko, like the USA and the UK.

Canada isn't far behind those two wacko loser national wildlife refuges. Otherwise, I would advise Canada to erect their own fence to keep the wingnuts out. Maybe they could have that old Guess Who song played every day on their radio stations, American Woman. The Guess Who described American women about 25 years before internet dating made it obvious to the world without having to leave home.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT PLEASE!!!

I will not ramble on, I have had the same experience with the 7 day trial, unable to cancel before the experation date. Then I did get it canceled (after 49.99) That I was willing to eat. I got hit again with a 49.99 this month. I called, they told me that I Hit a link in an email that authorized them to renew my subscription. LIKE HELL I WOULD!!! I got burned the first time, why in the world would I knowingly do the same thing again?

NO refund for me, I worked my way up to the supervisor, And he said that they could do a refund but they Will not do a refund for me. - Was unable to talk to his manager because his "manager" doesn't take phone calls. True.com is supposed to be a christian website.. no? Whatever... go to and rot in the depths of your own feces!

I read through some of these reviews about True.com and I agree. What a sleasy operation. I got ripped off by them twice. I have my credit card company investigating their unauthorized bill and I am contacting the BBB.

I see several other that recieved the E-mail to click and reactivate for free. I immediately realized that the scam was on. I tried to delete my account while on the site and also e-mailed them to cancel the e-mails they were sending me. I finally called and was told because the 3 day free trial had expired my account was being charged. I did, however get them to return half of the rip off price of 49.95. Now I will dispute the charge with my bank. I would like to know about other review sites that I can post about True ripoff.com. They need a lot of exposing.

The people at True.com should be avoided at all costs. They are overpriced and have unethical business practices. They send out fraudulent emails and winks from your profile so you get return emails from individuals not of interest. They should be put out of business. Again, stay away from this organization or you will be sorry.

I signed up with True.com for some entertainment and leisure. Not knowing that i will be charged every month for $49.95. The home page reads sign for free but once you register with them they keep charging you every month without you being aware of it. I was completely surprised that you have to pay these kinds of site for dating people. I can understand if this was a one time charge but they will continue doing so for several months. I also emailed them to cancel my membership with them, but then again i see another charge on my CC. When i contacted them they informed me that the only way to cancel was to inform them by phone, It is the only way you can get rid off their heavy charges. They quote "They are here to clean-up online dating". How can you do so if you are not true yourself. They are totally opposite to what their name is "TRUE", It is a completely fake and unethical site. True.com is bunch of illegal frauds just trying to mint money at other peoples expenses. I just plan to report this scam to scamclub.com which i think will help me get my money refunded and teach this fraudulent site a proper lesson. i have also posted my complain with Scamclub.com, here is my complain. http://www.scamclub.com/reports/True.com-106.html

True.com doesn't even deserve a star!! I signed up for a 7 day trial and I got some decent winks so I stayed on longer than 7 days and was charged a $50 fee which was ok because I was still using it. All the profiles seemed to be fake. I knew it was a scam when I saw a profile that had a picture of my FRIEND from HIGHSCHOOL. I knew her myspace profile so I went on it and messaged her and asked her if she had a true.com profile. She DIDNT EVEN MAKE ONE!!! They used her personal stuff to make a fake profile of her!! So I called customer service soon after I found that out and told them to cancel. Well they said my account was canceled and then on accident I went over my credit card limit and got into some trouble trying to make payments. My credit card was maxed out for a month and I finally got to the point where I could start paying it off. I look on there today and there is a charge for true.com for $50 and a $1! I bet they were trying to charge my credit card all along! I am angry! I sent them an email telling them to refund my money or I would be getting a lawsuit if I have to. I will be calling them on the phone tomorrow and bitching at them. if they don't get me a refund I will be calling my credit card company and disputing the charge. I WILL get my money back from these CROOKS!

I have reported true.com to the BBB and the FTC. Please, if they scammed you too, file an FTC and BBB complaint. It doesn't take long. I have sent true.com and Scott Fowler of true.com emails. I have also been emailing true.com customer care. I will be calling them over and over every day until they stop. They must be stopped. Also, I would like to see them removed from MySpace. I'm sure other advertisers would have no problem taking their place on MySpace.
