BUYER BEWARE: This site has a joke for membership! You can signup online, but you have to call in to their office to cancel and you can only cancel between certain hours. Additionally, when you cancel your membership they don't prorate you...it takes affect immediately. I've emailed these jokers for the past three months trying to get this thing shutdown and since I can't call in between 9-5 as I'm at work, it's ended up costing me 150 bucks. Stay away from this joke of a service!

I am giving True 4 stars only because I got lucky and met the most incredible man of my life. He is everything I never knew I wanted, the love of my life. They may not have good customer service, and they have bad billing practices, but I am happy I joined. Its the best decision I ever made.

Now, now Brianne, don't get too upset. You come from Texas, and plenty of us have more reason for an aversion to that place than you do to some review that upsets you, because our experiences are usually far more reality based and our reasons for disliking little wingnut gals with an alcoholic stupor induced drawl and a hag from hell mentality that somehow learned how to type are what keep us from going online and meeting more baggage laden hysterics like you. You sound like a big haired Dallas hag. Thank goodness I'm from the other side of the country. Did your pets run away from home when you were a kid?

I just wanted to say that Phillip J, on page 31-40, is the most abhorrently obnoxious excuse for a human being I have ever encountered. If you're reading this, Phillip, please do the world a favor and commit suicide. Or at least sever your hands so you can't type out any more misogynistic drivel. You disgust me. Please die.

Well i wish i could i give this site no star's or maybe just big "L" for being such a loser site. This site is run by a husband and wife team, and they send computer generated emails to members and members to be, to make you think there is a another member intrested in you(the oldest trick on the net). So if i were you and your reading this, avoid the site at all costs, and it will cost you if you don't!!

Can we use negatve stars? It's clearly the worst dating site ever. Deceptive billing practices and terms of service. I didn't even know that they had continued to bill my account when I had tried to cancel. . . Lousy interface, crappy selection of members. I can't imagine it being any worse. Instead of joining TRUE ,poke a sharp stick in your eye. That will give you the same amount of pleasure and won't rip you off nearly as much.

this is the worst site EVER. I wish i had seen these reviews before agreeing to pay .99 for subscription. I cancelled my account and kept recieving emails, and when I clicked on an email, to cancel the unwanted mails, the subscription was activated again!!! On top of that, I cancelled online, and apparently you can't cancel, you can only SUSPEND your account.... 12 days later I get a letter from the bank claiming an overdraft. Way to go, True.com..... negative stars.

Actually, True gets no stars and there should be some way to rate them negatively. I was offered a 3 day FREE trial which they billed me for before the trial was over and then placeda hold on my funds. I called them within 1 hour of the billing and told them waht I thought of their billing practices and they assured me that they would release the hold on my funds and cancel my account. It is now ten days later and the hold is still on my account. I will be more than happy to be a part of any class action suit against TRUE.com. My advise, true is a fraud and should be avoided at all costs. Better yet, consumer protection should get them off the net.

Actually minus 10 stars. Of all the online dating sites this has to be the most corrupt and fraudulent. I can't see how they continue to operate. When my first 7 day trial started I was getting 10-20 winks a day from the same women over and over. Some women I wrote to told me the same thing that they were getting tons of winks but they were phony. When I inquired of true they told me there is a setting somewhere that enables automatic winks. What is a automated wink? This is lunacy and I never saw such a choice. I now get free offers all the time but when you click on the free link it is the same link to rejoin. Also as a side note when I first signed up they have a fraud detector to check if someone is married or whatever and they accused me of being married to my deceased father. These people are lower than whale dung on the bottom of the ocean.

LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE

I think True.com is under some kind of class action lawsuit or something. It's an outright scam. It takes serious money to really check somebody out. Just another angle to get you to hand over your credit card number.

Basically, the company has found a new way to institute credit card fraud as they take your money and give you practically nothing....especially nothing as regards background checks.

Now that Plenty of Fish has grown so large, why not head over there for free and let these scammers fade away?
