No luck here. Seems repetitive in that they just send you anyone, not matched. No responses to emails. Fake profiles galore. Same old same old. My former friend Kevin used this website and although he was looking for a "partner" (read sex partner), his profile was as fake as they come. I reported him and dropped our friendship. He stayed on there another three months and could very well still be there. Beware.

I would give chemistry.com zero stars if that was an option. I fell for their "3 months for the price of 1" come on, which they pitch to lonely souls on Match.com. The problem with Chemistry, is you are not allowed to pick your dates. Chemistry folks pick them for your, a few at a time - with no regard whatsoever to your preferences. So if you say you like slender gals, they send you big and beautiful, or you want to date college grads only, they send you high school grads. Worse of all, after the teaser "trial period", chemistry bills your credit card again for $80 and claims the contract automatically renews at the regular price. I looked at my receipt and paper work and didn't see any wording to that effect. Avoid the hassles and don't sign up for Chemistry in the first place.

If it was possible to give Chemistry.com a zero rating, I would give it below zero! This site is a total scam. My preferences were CLEARLY spelled out in my profile: African-American males. They consistently matched me with Caucasian males, with an occasional token A/A thrown in. The few A/A males they matched were totally unsuitable, based on my stated preferences. Numerous emails got me nowhere. Most of the responses were canned, pre-pared scripts that said basically nothing. They are terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I am now in the process of attempting to get most of my money back. THEY SUCK.

Is zero stars possible? I agree with the other reviewers that this site is useless. I have had four possible matches presented in two weeks, none of which fit my criteria. When I complained, they told me my bar was too high. This was my bar: -- college educated -- nonsmoker -- w/i 75 miles
After I complained, I got more "matches." The closest one is a four-hour drive from my home, and again, they don't fit all three of my criteria. Seriously?
Since you commit without being able to see what some of the offerings are you have to take it on faith that they actually have a suitable pool of people in your area. Don't bite, and don't subscribe.
I want my money back!

Not worth it compared to the free (and paid) other sites that are out there. With the other ones, you can search and choose at your own pace-- whether you want to spend a few minutes a week, or several hours a day. You yourself can decide whether someone seems worthwhile.
CHemistry.com sent me reasonable matches perhaps the first two to three weeks; after that, they've been less and less appropriate, further away, and finally, have dwindled to no new matches. They also make you decide about they matches they send you (you have to check Interested, not, or decide later-- and you can only have 5 decide-laters). If you check interested, they send that person a note that you're interested (and you might not be REALLY interested-- may just be mildly, and not want to have them disappear forever). Once you say not interested, there's no going back-- they're gone. No revisiting, thinking about them, sitting on it. You don't get new matches unless you classify the ones they send you one way or another. And features like "noticed you"? ---that just means that you were sent to someone as a match, and they looked at your profile, but didn't mark that they were "interested." So why would you contact someone in the "noticed you" pile?
Oh, and why do they make you take that excruciating test and classify you as a negotiator, director, builder etc.? they send you all of the types, so it doesn't seem that the test matters or means anything at all.
Big disappointment despite their glossy and appealing ads. Go to the other sites where YOU are in charge. I had much, much more luck and enjoyed it much more.

One star is generous. This site is a scam. They matched me with people who were well out of my criteria in terms of education, body type and distance. I live in Maryland, and specifically requested matches within 50 miles and was I sent matches from NC, NJ, Ohio, and West Virginia. Many of the profiles are not current or phony. I complained to a customer care representative and she said they lack the technology to make sure all matches fall within my criteria. My comment was, "Then why have a criteria if you can't match people to it? This is what I am paying you to do. I have high speed internet on my phone with a GPS and you lack the technology to follow a simple match criteria?" Her name was Anastasia and she contacted me via e-mail. I think she was fake too. Her responses were robotic and always ended with "our technology is constantly being upgraded and we care about the feedback you provide us."
Are you kidding? My advice is save your money and buy a dog. You will get more companionship from a pet than from anyone on this site.

It doesn't deserve a single star. The site sucks. It just gives you like 5 "matches" everyday according to their "criteria" If you wanna go for more, they have this "stream" which shows you your already seen "matches" and hopefully a couple of options more. If after that you probably like one or two persons, your really need to wait for months to see their answer, because the site doesn't even tell you if they noticed you. I was so discouraged about online dating but I decided to give chemistry.com a shot for their "match chemistry test". This also sucks. You can find a much serious test on Vanity fair or Cosmopolitan.

I wouldn't even give Chemistry.com a 1 star rating if I had the option of a 0! Either there are no men on that site or I'm totally unappealing to the man species! I live in a small town and it's hard to meet people here so I thought it was worth a shot. Also, it seems like the few guys that are actually out there around my age are looking for a different kind of relationship than I am. I am 25 years old and Chemistry.com keeps sending me matches that are in their late 40s. I specifically requested a certain age range but they obviously don't care about actual "chemistry."

chemistry.com is about the biggest waste of time a person could involve themselves in. Either these people and profiles are just flat out plain fake, or im just a guy that no chic wants and that cant be the case. I am a successful buisness owner grossing over 250 yearly. i love kids and pets. and of course tall dark and handsome, which brings me to another discourse with the site. Its full of women that will only date white or caucasian men..... well, sorry but its more men in this world than just the one's with white skin. With all that being said.... screw chemistry.com.... it aint worth even saying the name!!
