From my experience and all I've read, dating sites do not work, especially this one which matches far less than perfectly in my experience by including people outside my criteria and some who are apparently no longer active. I also wonder if some pictures and people are even real. Perhaps in 20 years online matchmaking will have matured enough and people will have changed their attitudes enough for it to be worthwhile. But presently for the vast majority of users, it is merely a way to unload some of your extra cash and make you feel worse about yourself.

I found myself having all the same problems that everyone else has written about regarding this "dating" website. What finally led me to register a complaint with the BBB is that during a database search, I ran across a friend of mine's profile....who has been in a serious relationship for the past 6 months and had cancelled his membership!

I contacted PM's customer service dept with my complaint that how can I possibly know who is active on this site when I see people I know on it that shouldn't be? I requested that 2 of my 3 month membership be refunded and was told that the "enrollment policy" doesn't provide for refunds.

I told them that they were operating under bad faith and that I was going to register a complaint with the BBB. Which I just finished writing.

PerfectMatach.com has an A+ rating with the BBB! The only people who did receive any kind of refund complained about them to the BBB. If all of you who have had a bad experience with PerfectMartch.com would file a complaint as well, maybe that A+ rating can be turned around or maybe they will fix what's wrong with this website. It's an easy, online form that the BBB provides.

Too bad I can't give Perfect match no stars but there is no option so I reluctantly give it a star, Perfect match.com is a ripoff. I too think it's a scam. I received so many emails from scammers.
I think most of the profiles are fake as they do not seem to match up. You can't tell if anyone is still active. I read these reviews but too late as I had just joined. I thought I would send out a few icebreakers and emails and test this out. No responses. I think the profiles either are fake or are no longer active.
When I first joined I got about 10 matches. All of them out of my age range and out of state too. Not one was what I was looking for that I posted on my profile. We definitely were not a match. Avoid this website. Unfortunately it's a scam.

I agree... I wish there was a ZERO star option. I have been on since August. All the "Matches" have no profiles when I click on them. I have not received one speck of communication from anyone on this site. I complain, and they tell me to "wait and see"... that they are "different" from other dating web sites. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I will cancel as soon as my 3 months is up.

If I could give this site zero stars I would! What a rip off! I joined less than one week ago and have thus far received four spam emails from guys who try encrypting their yahoo email address and hope I take the bait. NOT. I have 'blocked' and 'reported' each of these jerks to the website but to no avail. The junk just keeps coming.

I am calling my credit card company and demanding they do a charge back!

I found the original PERFECT MATCH offer in my dvd of "Must Love Dogs!" Then I visited the site and discovered that most of the men and women who were 'looking for love' had been ripped off by the membership fees! Maybe this site was better when the movie was released? But apparently, things have changed?

There was only one positive comment from a subscriber. The rest of were negative.

Having enrolled on many dating sites, I'm convinced that the only ways to find the perfect partner are by luck, or meeting that partner through a friend or family member? And if you're lucky enough to find that 'perfect match', both partners MUST WANT the relationship to work.

And that requires...a little work from each partner!

Unbelievably cruddy matches.

I answered all the multiple-guess questions to set up my free profile and was presented with a list of 6 "perfect matches" immediately. Looking at the profiles of the men, it was clear that 4 of them really had no lifestyle or personality match with me. One of the four was 4 years outside my age range and another of the four was 8 years outside my age range.

These were clearly guys who had paid for memberships and were thus "guaranteed" a certain number of matches during their paid period -- the poor guys got ripped off!! I closed (inactivated) the matches immediately. The last two of the six were questionable matches at best -- probably also paid.

If this is the quality of matches for paying customers, then why would I pay? There should be no shortage of matchable people in a metropolis like San Francisco Bay Area. And what about this horrible business practice of matching fresh unpaid women to unmatchable paid men? Ridiculous!

I join perfectmatch just one week ago and believe me it is a SCAM!! I would give it a 0 rating if I could. I was viewing the male profiles and I came across a good friend of mine who is now DECEASED!! How horrible is that to see him on this site. As others stated, you do not know if these men are inactive or not. I email the company and told them I would like my money back after paying 99.90 for four months. They told me they could return half of my money. I was only on the site for 3-4 days so why should I accept only half of my money. I am a single mom and work very hard for my money. I am also going to contact Better Business and complain about this site. It is NOT worth your hard earn money to join it!!

Waste of Money! I did not receive one email from anyone and the ten or so I sent emails to, did not reply (and I'm easy on the eye so ????). Kept checking my account set up to ensure it was viewable and accessible. There is no way to tell if a member is active or not (bad feature).

WATCH OUT! Perfectmatch.com is a PERFECT RIP-OFF! I paid full 90 days subscription then realized on 2nd day that perfectmatch.com is not the right site for me bcos it provided me with only few matches, half of whom have not been online in last 30 days, and some of my matches dont even have pictures. It's ridiculous.

Hence, I terminated my subscription and contacted perfectmatch.com to refund un-used subscription fees back to my account as stated in perfectmatch.com's refund POLICY! But they NEVER REFUNDED MY UNUSED SUBSCRIPTION MONEY BACK TO MY ACCOUNT.

Perfectmatch.com is DECEITFUL AND EXPLOITING PEOPLE UNDER A TACTICAL FALLACY OF THEIR POLICY.
