I want to inform this company of the Poor response I recieved from this website. I spoke with 2 men from this website, John Morries, and Wayne Bush. These guys are frauds. They only want you to send them money to Africa, to help them out of Jams they got themselves in. John, wanted $2000. out of me and was Very upset when I didn't have it to send. The names he called me and he didn't even know me. John, even went and removed me from the site, without my permission and expressed this site gave him my email address. Now, Wayne Bush, from Plattsburg, NY. He expressed the same thing that he's over in Africa, on a Project job from NY, and now he didn't have enough money to get back here. I loaned him$ 1600. before Christmas, he was suppose to be back by ,December 10, so that meant my grand kids didn't have a Christmas from me, and now my car was repo , I lost my house and now I have no where to live. Also, I sent his children money, now look at me. I tried getting back to inform this company as I had trouble logging in and coming back on as a new person. You all need to make sure you are putting true people on your website, look at me now out of $20, for this site, and $1600. Please stop trying Sooooo hard to get the $20 and be true to the people on this site. Nannette Sims

Beware of scoundrels and scalawags using this site to cheat people...I did my 1st online dating with this site hoping I will meet a real Christian in word and in deed.. He used Steve Miller , from NJ and posted a picture stating he's 50 years old a self employed civil engineer according to him , I don't know if he used the name of other people... He used God a lot , the reason why I trusted him in just more than 3 months communicating with him through email and phone...Its his using Gods words that i trusted him,,,he used God , I believe God will punish him.. It may not be this time but am sure karma awaits him.. Beware... he might have another victimm, he would always request and had prayer before your conversation... Beware... He is a wolf acting like a sheep... A wolf in a sheeps clothing

I wish I could give CM a 0 star! Most of the men on this site are divorced w/children, overweight and unattractive! I am an attractive, young woman, never married nor have children! I met one guy who was middle aged, divorced with two teenage daughters! He was a self proclaiming Christian and also works in law enforcement, Not quite what I was looking for (with the baggage of divorce and kids) but I thought, "maybe I'm being too picky". and decided to give him a chance!

What a huge mistake!!!!! The first two dates went well but quickly he became very controlling and I honestly believe that he has an "inappropriate relationship" with his teen daughters! We only dated for 1 month but he was moving at the speed of lighting! He all but twisted my arm to meet his daughters when I insisted that I was not ready but in a way I'm glad that I did! Because it was just confirmation that something strange was going on! I've never been more weired out! I stoped seeing him the evening I meet his family! He would always comment on how beautiful and sexy I am which lead me to believe that sex was the only thing that he was interested in.

I'm kissing online dating goodbye! Try meeting someone through friends, gym, church etc. There are too many predators online!

People that meet dates and have a good time using Christian Mingle give good reviews. People that didn't meet anyone, give bad reviews. Stop whining, use the site as ONE way to meet someone. It should be a tool to meet people to date. You need to get out, find groups, join a gym, etc. Make it happen!

It’s a rip. It is online dating services like this that give online dating services a bad name. The “best” thing about ChristianMingle is their current blitz of television ads. They sure fooled me. The ads attempt to portray ChristianMingle as a wholesome Christian dating service. In reality, it is not. ChiristianMingle is owned by Spark Networks, Inc., a penny-stock (symbol LOV) outfit based in Hollywood, CA. Spark Network, which has several other “targeted” groups of the day, including blacks, Jews and senior citizens, can’t seem to keep its online dating services open. It formerly ran an online dating service called Glimpse.com, which targeted gays and lesbians. When that fly-by-night operation suddenly folded, the Spark money grabbers came up with ChristianMingle. Not surprisingly, this “Christian” dating service openly welcomes same-sex searches and strongly implies that it is a great place for homosexual matches. Not exactly what I was expecting too find on a Christian site. But then again, I soon found that there were a lot of things that did not square with the Christian way of life as most people know it. My experience on ChristianMingle made me thankful for one thing: That I did not sign up for a whole year. If you have more money than brains, think you don’t deserve better than this and can’t be talked out of it, I would recommend that you sign up for the minimum one-month subscription. True, it costs more that way, but you will waste fewer of your hard-earned dollars. Within the first few hours of signing up with this sleazy—and I am being charitable when I use that word—operation, be prepared for an onslaught of scammers who “somehow” get your email address. If you should become dissatisfied with ChristianMingle (and I think you quickly will be), do not expect a refund. Also, they can—and do—cancel memberships without refund and without providing any reason whatsoever. My experience with ChristianMingle is that it is not a “Christian” dating site by any stretch of the imagination. True, it is comprised primarily of Christians, but there is nothing about the business or the way it is run that is Christian. Please run--do not walk--away from ChristianMingle. There is no way I could ever recommend this site to anyone, especially a fellow Christian. But if you have money to burn, like being emailed by scammers and being in a dating pool that caters to homosexuals, this is probably the site for you.

I went on Christian Mingle the Beginning of last year. I met a wonderful woman and we were married this last November. We are both seeking the Lord and I believe that is the reason for our being brought together. We are very happy!

I tried to sign up for this website, just to try it out, and no matter what name I used, I was told that it was already in use, was unavailable, or something. I even tried just some odd letters and got the same type of response. I have read all of the reviews here, and thank all of you for putting them in. I've decided that this is not the 'space' for me. I'm signed up at seniorpeoplemeet.com and I'm not overly impressed with it but it's o.k. I suspect none of these websites are that great, but this one is discouraging. They have great PR on televison so naturally I thought I would find a nice Christian man here, but apparently not. Thanks again people, for putting in your comments. Karen

Beware when you sign up with ChristianMingle.com that there are NO REFUNDS. Please read the fine print and check all the options regarding auto-renewal. If you choose to sign up, I suggest do it for the shortest amount of time to start off. I chose the smallest monthly amount but it's cost more in the long run. I'm not satisfied. There are small numbers of local memberships from which I got no responses.

Beware of christianmingle.com which markets itself as having a distinctly Christian focus, but it is not evident in its business practice. Two weeks after paying $75 to join christianmingle.com, my son was locked out of access to his account because he made an innocent mistake creating his user name. The company does not make itself readily accessible by any means except email.

We are pretty techno-savvy but were unable to locate a phone number or physical address for christianmingle.com, so we googled the parent company Spark Networks, called their Beverly Hills headquarters at 1-323-658-3000, and spoke to guy named Tyler who was nice but wouldn't help. More googling found the name and number of Steve Burton, Director of Customer Support at 1-888-854-3803 mail or mail him at Spark Networks, PO Box 739, Orem UT 84059-0739. Spent 2 hours and long-distance charges with no satisfactory resolution -- Mike at the 888 Customer Support number finally offered to reactive access to account so we can see their member support phone number. Mike agreed that the site has issues the company won't correct. The company refuses to reactive the account with an acceptable user name, or to acknowledge that their phone number appears on the site only for members with account access, or the security issue presented by showing the specific church a user attends. Will update review if company shows any interest in providing minimal support for so-called premium "service".
