My experience with Christian Mingle has been filled with confusion and frustration. I am unemployed, do not have much money and a little wary of these websites so I have never subscribed. I signed up and posted a free profile. It was difficult to communicate without paying for anything. The site would not even let me read messages from admirers. I am looking for men between 21-34, which I put in my preferences, and yet I was getting messages from men as old as 60.

Recently I exchanged smiles with someone who looked like a great match for me. When I logged in again and clicked on the same username it was a different man! Somehow two different men had the same username. I called customer service twice and the line was dead. I sent an email and got a response saying appropriate action has been taken. The lady Cara who wrote the vague email did not explain what happened and what they did to resolve the situation and did not even apologize. She just thanked me for my help.

I have logged onto the website again and the username which somehow belonged to two men is nowhere to be found.

I am so relieved I did not pay any money for this! I have had a bad enough experience without giving them my credit card number.

These people are scammers!!!! Do not get a membership because even though you sign up for one month they continue to charge and will NOT refund your money. I have closed my profile I will never go through them again. Stay away!!!! Btw they are zero stars and I will be contacting the BBB bc of the scam.

Do not trust all the people in this site .They are big time scams .They put a picture, a very humble looking, kind and generous and even make you feel that you are loved specially Widows .They give you their numbers so that you can trust them .Eventually they will talk about money so please no not fall in this The user name Royalmatron was a scam so please becareful

Do not go on this site if you're looking for a quality dating site and a company with YES - good integrity. I agree this company very well uses christianity as a marketing ploy. I recently signed up and was it a bad experience. Don't even bother filling out your preferences in what you seek in a mate because they will send you member profiles that are way outside of your criteria. I addressed this issue to Cara and she replied back telling its part of Christian Mingles contract just like she told me they have a no refund policy. I'm in my thirties and looking for members within a 100 miles radius of LA and within my age group. MAJORITY of my emails were sent from men that were in their fifties, outside my ethnic preference, and members living outside of my state. I'm based in California and I had members from Hawaii, Colorado, North Carolina, and other states contacting me! They were all OUTSIDE FROM CALIFORNIA. Like really that's going to work out?! So I went on an advanced search doing my own serach and they were only able to provide 10 pages which is equivalent to like 80 members (8 on each page) and the rest after the 10th page didn't have any photos as they were members that are no longer active!

If you're in the state of California and several other states, do note that you have (((((( 3 days to cancel )))))) - you can get your money back. Christian Mingle reps will tell you they have a NO REFUND POLICY, but know your rights. As long as you SNAIL MAIL them, BY LAW they have to honor you the refund. They are based in Los Angeles so as long as you mail it out by 3rd day, your good.

I should of done more research on Christian Mingle but I just assumed it was a credible, reputable site based on the name itself but I was wrong. The reps are extremely rude and condescending especially Cara who is the person in charge that handles all emails correspondence.

Just look at the reviews of Christian Mingle and look at the recent rapist that was on here. I've never been on E-harmony before, but I hear they do an extensive background check before anything. I know there are members on Christian Mingle that claim they are single but still are married (who happens to be my co-worker) so that alone will tell you how Christian Mingle operates...? They don't do any background checks and how safe is that.

Don't waste your money and time on here....and there might be one or two people I may associate with but the rest I wouldn't even reply back to. It's THAT bad.....but I got my REFUND! =)

I would like to give Christian Mingle a -1 star. Regardless of the settings the matches that came back were totally inapropriate. Two matches that seemed "reasonable" ran for the hills when I told them I had reported two scammers from eHarmony to the FBI. There may be a lucky few that find companionship and/or relationships through this site. All I found is potential scammers and people asking that I be ready for sex immediately and one was 15 years my senior, way outside the parameters I had set for my matches. No where in my profile did I speak of sexual encounters and the base for my relationships had to be friendship first.

I have asked for a refund. We will see how it goes. I hope the people running the service turn out to be better people than the people they allow on their site.

Attention Ladies:

Watch out for the guys that say all the nice Christianese you want to hear, they even put up a nice profile that appears that they are genuine. Then when he gets you to his home all he wants is to kiss, makeout and try to get you into the bed. Some of these Christian men are no better than the men that do not know the Lord. Shame on you that call yourselves Christian and act like the world.

I know of a girl that really feel for a guy on this website, they emailed each other for a few weeks and he professed his love to her. To make a long story short he eventually took advantage of her sexually and then when problems occurred between them he dumped her. Within one day, he was already looking for another to take her place. A lesson learned for her. But God will judge this man.

I wish I could give CM a 0 star! Most of the men on this site are divorced w/children, overweight and unattractive! I am an attractive, young woman,never married nor have children! I met one guy who was middle aged,divorced with two teenage daughters! He was a self proclaiming Christian and also works in law enforcement, Not quite what I was looking for (with the baggage of divorce and kids) but I thought, "maybe I'm being too picky". and decided to give him a chance!

What a huge mistake!!!!! The first two dates went well but quickly he became very controlling and I honestly believe that he has an "inappropriate relationship" with his teen daughters!We only dated for 1 month but he was moving at the speed of lighting! He all but twisted my arm to meet his daughters when I insisted that I was not ready but in a way I'm glad that I did! Because it was just confirmation that something strange was going on! I've never been more weired out! I stoped seeing him the evening I meet his family! He would always comment on how beautiful and sexy I am which lead me to believe that sex was the only thing that he was interested in.

Ladies Beware...Don't be fooled. There are men on this site claiming to be Christians to but are not! They are nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing. My soon to be ex- husband is claiming to be a Baptist to find someone to date on this site! He hasn't lived a Christian lifestyle in several years while he was married to me. My life with him has been very difficult because of his belief system. He pretends to be a Christian to get what he wants and when he gets you, he changes into his true self....a non believer!
If God changed his heart, that great. However, watch out and don't allow him or anyone make you stumble in your faith! Just be careful. I will not join this website or any other site. I rather meet someone the old fashion way. People can pretend to be whoever they want to be online.

My husband recently left me and immediately joined Christisn Mingle along with a few non-Christian websites. He stated he was divorced! Well, he's NOT. He's using Christian Mingle to solicit women while married. I find it offensive that CM makes a big deal about approving your Essay and fails to check the marital status which is public record!

Not only is he lying about bring divorced ; he's also lying about his ethnicity etc. real people will get hurt due TI his lies and the failure of CM to properly filter out people like this.
