It's a great site for sex and that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. Also, there are some good people on POF. POF beats Craigslist and it's made adultfriendfinder obsolete. There are women on this site that say they're looking for a relationship but they're willing to let the right guy get down there pants. Men come on either too strong or not strong enough and they scares them off. Also, most of the women on there are very shy so they'll run if you ask questions that are too personal.

Here's a few hints, despite what TV or women say, 90% of women dream of being taken of by a MAN. Practice word relation. People in general view the word "Picky" or "Banter" as bad, and the words "Spontaneous" and "Adventure" as good. Telling stories is better than writing mushy. Most of all, it's the pictures. Women want proof. Women like to see pictures of you having fun, on your bike, hiking the trails.

The problem is this site is over run with men. Women get a ton of emails each day. A lot of those women have been on POF for a long time while a typical guy will get sick of the site in a matter of weeks. These women have a fresh crop of men apprearing daily and I think some of them get spoiled. They can't think or look past their screen. They know they're a star online. The women who start thinking like this get stuck in a trap. What I've noticed is a woman who's been online for a long time has bad dating skills and this causes them to be easily taken by a smooth talker.

What true is the married, excons, players, liars, theives, are the men who seem to enjoy the most success. Same as in real life. Online these guys can hide this. These guys have little to lose, they don't pin their hopes on dating because they have other things going on in real life. They write and tell stories about their adventures in their profile. Many of these women on POF lead boring lives and they want that excitement. Players make women feel good. Married men know how to take care of a situation and women like that. Women are attracted to this, they aren't attracted to guys who come off as really nice.

I had an email exchange with a Bisexual Married woman who was looking to cheat on her husband. Women do it too and they use POF.

It's a clusterfvck for the most part and that's because people tend to fall into a trap. You have men who get hurt after being online for 3 weeks. Then you have women who will spend months or years online while getting continuously hurt. Just from observation this happens because these people have poor communication skills, bad dating skills.

I look at these ladies profiles. There are quite a few of these profiles where the woman is making a DuckFace and she's complaining about the guys on the site. Why not just write a profile for the type of guy you'd like to meet, not for the guys you don't want emailing you.

That's the problem with POF or internet dating in general. You have to have a plan. You have to know who you want to date. You can't allow yourself to get distracted because the attention makes you feel a certain way. If I was running a business I wouldn't hire a woman who's been online for years and I wouldn't hire a guy a guy who gave up after 3 weeks. To sum it up in one word...adapt.
