Hi All-An word to the wise be cautious regarding this website, eHarmony came into my Life as being an serious seeker of an committed Life Long partnership(marriage) and what I now know foolishly believing in the marketing through Television/print that this would be the best location to cross paths with an Woman that I'd be able to build an Life with as the "You'll meet someone in an grocery store line browsing the aisles" is an myth and seemingly through my experience along with others with whom I've spoken to the introduction to someone who knows someone isn't happening nowadays either. After being with eharmony for 4 throwing good money(It's expensive) after bad years which during this time YES to their credit they did send me matches(many without photos-or worse no longer active on the site profiles) every time an match is received there is an sense of excitement("Is this HER?"),However very few fit my outlined criteria(which isn't supposed to happen according to the "matching system- over 2 hour questionnaire to become an member " and or lived in Nevada which is quite some distance from me in California not ideal for an relationship to live out of each others state and each time that I would call to speak to them which I will give them their due on the customer service by representatives were friendly,However when I raised my concerns the consistent comment as though it was an rehearsed script was" We have over 500+ marriages per Day it takes some longer then others to meet the Love of their Lives" Have you tried adjusting your settings, If not try doing so for awhile and see if that will bring you the results you desire?"
Like an Sucker believing in the hype and seeking positive results I'd succumb to these what I now know are tactics to maintain your membership which equals ultimately the job of the person you've called in addition whenever there was an problem with the site took forever to become resolved and they had the issue regarding lack of member information password thefts early 2012 exposed.
I'd actually rate eharmony an minus Double zero star.

During this 4 years I went on 4 dates(spoke to two others by phone due to the low quality supposedly seriously seeking marriage Women in fact please allow me to share with you what transpired there were two things didn't work out with fair enough,However it's the other two which stand out which were in the middle and the last date on the site both con artist scammers the one who was in the middle on the first date asked" How much do you make an year?" shocking question indeed based on the look that I gave her she then asked"Is that an illegal question?"

Then on the next time we went out which OK I'll accept responsibility probably shouldn't of ever seen or talked to her again I took her to an play everything went smooth so I'm thinking" alright I'll give it another chance then we went out again she gives me an impassioned story of how she was an domestic violence survivor(ex-husband had be arrested and there was an order of protection-now she lived in an ("safe house") so she tells me my Heart at this point is going out to the girl then on our third date she informs me that for the two of us to go any further I must buy her an business along with house in her name.
At this point I contact eharmony inform them of what's transpired then as an lure they indicate that they'll offer me an month of service in accommodation(Stupidly I accept) fast forward to the last date this one when I first come across her now please bear in mind the majority of matches live outside of my state and or no photo non active profiles so I'm excited not only does she live in my area but with an photo too!

Then this Woman asks me to call her after we've gone through eharmony's extensive(ask/answer multiple tiring questions guided communication which I preformed with all the Women as according to their propaganda its meant to assist you in uncovering your compatibility which when I do she offers me an story of how she was an flight attendant(Who actually lives in Australia not my area as profile indicates) for an international airline on an layover along with how her "ex" hadn't returned all of her valuables when they broke up and that the two of them were not able to complete her fiancee visa arranged to meet for lunch(she asked for an ride to where she parked"because her feet hurt from the high heels"(Sure, why not!?)..(Then she calls me saying she'd lost her 5K necklace in my car from her grandmother.BS!) then when I contact eharmony to inform them of these details my membership was cancelled(when I inquired why all of the friendly customer service became non existent and the comments were "decisions are at our desecration" which now mind you this is after 4 years of loyalty after speaking with my Family and friends they've all deduced that based on my reporting the two incidents
of scam artists on their site apparently uncovering the lack of site filtering and or layers of protection of the general public from schemers and con artist caused them to react yet for the entire 4 years all was well but show them the mirror and they dont like the ugly!
