A Review of Match.comWrite your own review of Match.com! Reviewed By: Carol S. Location: Edmonton, AB Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: July 22, 2012 I have not had online success. Most men I have met in the 40's online are unemployed (or constantly changing jobs), finiancially unstable, and or social misfits/mentally ill. The reason I am writting is because of the amount of scammers and manipulation that is ALLOWED on dating sites. I recently noticed that a fellow I had saved as a favorite - had turned from a 41 yr. old 6 ft. plus 'boy next door type' to a 57 yr. old blond man (Chillykiss57). Some of the original pictures (of fellow #1), description etc. were kept but suddently the age of the fellow changed and a bunch of pictures of a 56 yr. old blond male were added. What the??? It was obvious that someone at the other end was a scammer or out to manipulate people online and play games with stolen pics. of someone else. I wrote Match.com to allert them of this problem and also POF (mysearchingheart) with no response. The profile is still up 2 weeks later and nothing is done with scammer profiles. I can only think that since Match.com is a paid site, that they have no problems leaving up fraudulent profiles to pad there membership list or get people hooked. Worse yet, they have no concern for the safety of their members. |
