A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: Ella Location: North Carolina Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: May 29, 2012 eharmony was a total waste of time and energy. A painstaking amount of time was taken to fill out their tedious questionnaire only to result in a very inept matching system. No matter how high I set my preferences, I was still sent matches too far away, not within my preference setting, and, most did not have photos. eHarmony's response was lame--they send matches too far away as it "opens up a broader field of matches" which really means they don't have quality men or men of your preferences in your area. As far as sending matches with no photos, their answer was that as soon as new members sign up, they want to match them with potential matches until the photos appear. Those matches never did upload photos. eHarmony does not have one's best interest in mind. The bottom line is this--eHarmony uses a Dr.'s reputation to computer generate matches but those matches are not true matches and it is a hit or miss system. I found no quality men in my age range and it was frustrating to receive matches that are no match at all. The eHarmony system in ineffective at best. I tried it for 3 months and did not find one single "match" who was even match enough for me to want to contact. It is a waste of money and time and I do not recommend it for anyone over 45 who is dating. |
