I'm not sure the problem is Match.com it's the men. I read some of these reviews and people said they got 50+ contacts (not matches) actual contacts, wow! They must be under 40 thin and blond. I can't get men my age and the same appropriate over weight status to answer me. I'm told I'm attractive, but yet most men my age 56 are looking for women 10+ years younger than them selves. How shallow, men in general get old before women do. And beer bellies now seem to be considered athletic. And they want Barbie. Most men my age 56 want to lay down and have them throw dirt in their face, but yet they want the younger woman. Then they will wonder why she has a wondering eye when he has trouble with his "equipment". The men seem to turn into to players if they stay very long and us women get too apprehencive because of players and scammers so it's just about impossible to meet someone. I'm giving up when my subscription is done in a few weeks. I've decided all of us are not totally our true selves on here because of the ambiguity. It ends up changing who we are even if it's for a short time in an email, either good intentions, or "no harm" they don't know who I am, it can't hurt. I myself have always been true and never played with anyone, but because of the ambiguity I have let chats go too far trying to be nice by answering their
in-appropriate questions and not wanting to come off being prudish or trying to hide anything etc. But it ends up giving a false impression by their assumptions. That's the other thing I've learned men say they don't want games, but yet they don't want what they ask for.
