A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: marian Location: Canada Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: August 07, 2010 Eharmony has been very disappointing. The compatibility thing seemed to work well, at least in theory, but once I signed up there wasn't much to be enthusiastic about. I joined on a free communication weekend & got 30+ matches who actually seemed compatible. As soon as I signed up for 3 months, the matches dwindled out to almost nothing & not one man has contacted me. (I posted a photo, don't look like a troll, am educated, sane, fit, etc...) At first I felt terribly rejected but then started experimenting with sending icebreakers & questions & emails to all the men on the list who sounded reasonable. Still no response. I then realized that the majority of the matches probably signed up for the free weekend or (as others have said) met someone long ago & were not even active. Alas, I guess I'll never know for sure. Eharmony needs to come clean about some of their business practices, which are shady. They lure in potential members with other potential members, a lot of who never actually sign up. I also suspect that there are way more women than men on this site, but eharmony won't divulge the numbers. Try another dating site. |
