A Review of Yahoo! PersonalsWrite your own review of Yahoo! Personals! Reviewed By: dave Location: north carolina Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: May 12, 2010 Couldn't agree more with the Washington guy's fourth and fifth paragraphs. Gotta "love" the ones who initiate communication saying how great your pics and profiles are, and then they just disappear for no reason at all. "Hey, I'm glad you think I'm the cat's meow, but let's never meet, and at least I'll have this wonderful e-mail you sent me for posterity." It's interesting that the ones who actually appear to be desireable on paper, seem to be the ones that are on the sites longer. Some people are open minded (like I am) and positive even after having bad or weird experiences, while many others are not. The longer women are on-line the worse their attitudes about the opposite sex seem to get, to the point where they are almost completely undateable. In terms of total selection and actual desireable women, I'd have to rate yahoo personals as the worst. The sheer amount of available women is much, much smaller than match or eharmony, and I found that over 70% of the profiles on there are inactive (on-line within a month) anyway. |
