Since I've been using Yahoo's e-mail service for years, I consider paying 29.95 for one month on their personals site nothing more than a donation for using their free e-mail service, nothing more.

The site is loaded with fakes, emotional problems and unrealistic expectations, and women who have actively been on the site for YEARS, which should cause a red flag to pop up in any rational man's mind regardless of how attractive her photo may be.

I hadn't internet dated for years because quite frankly, I never had to until now after finding myself out of the dating loop after focusing on building a successful independent business for the past couple of years. But now I realize that the real reason I've overlooked the internet personals medium is because it simply didn't appeal to me because it reeks of superficiality and is loaded with insincere, deluded people who want much more than they're able to give.

And if there IS a sincere, real woman on the site that's genuinely looking for a mutually respectful and romantic relationship, she's usually scares herself out of any possibility of that happening because she's been jaded by all of the creeps she's encountered during her experience. Many women have a bad habit of relating ONE bad dating experience to future romantic possibilities... and nowhere does that seem more evident than on Yahoo Personals.... especially among those with more attractive photos who've been on the site a lot longer than what would be considered a "reasonable" amount of time.

So many women have written me to generally say, "you're attractive, write well, spell correctly (???) and seem to have yourself together... so I'm sure the women on THIS site are ignoring you".... then they themselves run away and I never hear from them again. What that shows me is that a woman's self-aggrandized profile doesn't guarantee that she's emotionally stable or being true to HERSELF. If anything, it usually indicates quite the contrary.

So I'm through with internet dating and will just hope to find my kind of woman by being out and about, as I have in the past Washington DC is full of attractive, single Women and I'm sure there's one out there looking for a guy like me as well... all we have to do is find each other among the chaotic and frequently superficial dating circle that permeates throughout the DC single demographic. Should be a piece of cake. LOL!
