How to use Yahoo! Personals.

This site was great a few years ago, but now, especially in major cities, it is nearly a complete waste of time. Most of the profiles are fake, then they send you messages with BS URLs or spam links.

How to use Yahoo! Personals:

1) Do not fall for the "one photo" profiles. These normally begin with the standard suggested "I am an outgoing person who loves my family". Do not let this dissuade you from matches who employ this suggested setup, but it should be viewed as a red flag.
2) Only hit up the people that are in your "datable" range (you know what I mean - you never dated anyone that hot, why are they going to fall for you now . . .)
3) Flag any profiles that are BS only once using the "Report a Concern" tab on orange bar.
4) Don't give out your telephone number until you are certain things are on the up and up.
5) Beware bad grammar, names/words that are inconsistent with the actual profile.
6) Beware most Russian/Eastern Bloc names/profiles (total BS)

Happy dating, now that internet dating has become the joke that it was back in the 90's.
