What I got in Yahoo Personals was emails from Yahoo Personals itself, using a profile from their site, trying to entice me to subscribe. I figured it out by contacting someone who had supposedly contacted me. I contacted them through their profile, rather than as a reply to "their" email, and asked them if they had contacted me. The answer, of course, was no. Don't waste your money there. It's impossible to tell what's real.
