Geeze Tom, are you serious when you ask a lady to travel she has to pay her own way, lol! First of all, if I am at a point in a relationship where we are traveling... by this point I know this person well and I am assuming we are intimate. I would never stay or continue to date a man that expects his date to pay! I do fairly well and have a degree, but sorry gentlemen if you were brought up well, you know how to take care of a lady. A lady treats her partner well by making him nice dinners, and there are other ways to reciprocate, but a man of decent values, and social standing understands this is part of the deal.

As for the comments on age, I agree within 10 years is ok, anything beyond that typically doesn't work, and those people just waste more time and years because of poor judgement. None of this is Match's fault, its dating in general.

Also, why do people post pics of their children? I find this very tacky, and dangerous to say the least in this day and age. You chose to have children which is great, but they are YOUR responsibility, and when you go on dates you need to get a babysitter.

Match works in general, but I've found you really need to email and talk on the phone to get a good sense of the person, especially before you even meet them.
