I think, as others have said before, that you get what you put into it. I went out with a guy who turned out to be much shorter than his description, pixs that are 10 years old, and much older. And they are looking for the 25-35 woman!!!
I believe that the writing is overrated: most men cant write and their e mails are short and curt. Someone else must have written these longgggg bios that go on forever. Stay away from those self centered, all important guys!
This is my second round in Match.com (in 2009 for 2 months) and I dated 4 guys and got to see one of them 3-5 times before he told me that "I was too good for him" (I made more money and have the real diplomas!!!). So, I now go by (1) picture--is he the kind of face I will introduce to a friend or sit at a restaurant with? (2) voice: phone voice is very telling...I try to meet ASAP so I can get it out of the way, eliminate, and go to the next one. In order to do this you need to juggle at least 3 guys at a time, eliminate, eliminate.
So ladies: go with your gut feeling. Many married men are looking too, so if Sat and Sun are busy --wonder why?
Medical conditions (such as a recent hear attack!!!) are not disclosed until you are at the bedroom door--can you imagine the guy dropping dead in the middle of sex?????
So, ask questions over the phone, dont expect too many e mails, get a firm date over the next five days or delete and start over.
It takes time and effort from both sides. If you are making all the effort then face it, "he is not into you".
Best of luck! I got one more month to go!!!!!!!
