I was on Yahoo years back...but about a year to two ago I kept seeing some suspicious profiles and they were always out of the same town: Young America, MN.

It was weird....they typically had 1 glam photo (like a senior picture from high school), and most of the options for the men the women were seeking was 'any'.

The ads were written poorly too...misspellings, incorrect use of words. One stated she liked men who don't wear much makeup. (not joking).

Anyway, got back on there in December of 2009 and its even worse. I'd say 1 out of every 5 are fake, and they just keep appearing as the days go on.
I've been contacted by at least 5 fake people in the past week. They ALWAYS send you an email address in the first correspondence and want to carry the discussion off the personals site.

Yea, I contacted Yahoo about it through the 'feedback' option, but, nothing will happen.

Anyway...its too bad. They discredit their own company by doing this stuff.
