Been on E-H since the early days. Felt their matching system had some merit. Met a few ladies that were very nice but ultimately we weren't marriage material to each other. The amount of responses I was getting was very low. It appeared that the amount of paying users was virtually nil. If you both don't pay you can communicate. With a little investigative work I now realize that only 20% of the matches at best are paying ( able to communicate) members. If you would just watch your match list but don't view any matches you can tell who has looked at your profile. Approximately 80% will never view your profile telling me that they no longer frequent E-H. Now out of the 20% that look at you profile not all are paying members. Then factor out the ones you are not visually attracted to, the ones that aren't attracted to you, the ones that are to far ( Hey, I'm in L.A. traffic is a nightmare), The ones where their isn't a personality match, and any other selection criteria you can come up with and the pickins gets pretty slim. Contacting E-h is a _ uckin pain in the _ss altogether. When you select not to auto renew you first have to fill out a survey of your experience, wait a damn minute whose money is this anyway. I don't believe I should be extorted to fill out a survey to stop paying for a service that at best seems lame and at worst may be outright FRAUD. Now if you're still thinking about signing up wait till they are hard up for cash and run the special where you get three months for 10.00$, ... that's right 10.00$. Hey it's only a ten spot and you never who you might meet. Or you can do a little research as I have and watch to see how many people view you profile to give you a ball park number as to how many might be paying members on your match list.
