A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: Courtney Location: Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: November 18, 2009 I signed up after believing what a great deal it would be to sign up for 3 months at only 19.99 a month. I didn't realize what a joke it e-harmony was until after I confirmed my subscription. I am partial to blame since I didn't research the site before signing up. They don't let you review and browse for your matches. You are strictly assigned based on the questions you answer. After I completed mine I was only matched with 7 people.. yes 7! I have been on match.com and have had a lot of great successes and went on many dates. I enjoyed match because it allowed for casual dating which is what I intended when signing up for eharmony.. well, obviously casual dating was not going to happen since based on their questions I am only compatible with 7 of their "thousands and thousands" of users. My subscription with match ended and I wanted to see what other sites had to offer.. if anyone is considering a dating site I would definitely say go with match! That is where I am going back to! HOWEVER, after reading their terms and conditions you CAN cancel within 3 DAYS of signing up with no penalty. I searched the site for a 1800 # and waited on hold for over 30 minutes (this is how badly I wanted my money back) They guy on the line was really pushy trying to offer me a 14 day trial with a no penalty cancellation but I declined right away. All I wanted was my money back for this joke. He finally refunded my money (hopefully, I will have to wait 7-10 business days...) Anyways, I am renewing my match subscription because at least I can browse and actually pick my own matches! |
