A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: Fed up Location: Philadelphia Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: October 02, 2009 eHarmony is more shady than a large oak tree! So I reached open communication (for those of you not familiar, this is the last stage after answering the silly questions and must haves/can't stand lists) with a match and sent him a message on Monday. Unlike most matches, was actually intrigued by him and was disappointed when I still hadn't heard from him today (4 days later). Then I log in tonight and discover that he never responded to the message I sent Monday because eHarmony hadn't sent it. When I checked, it said the message was sent today. And surprise, surprise, my account expires in a week. So it sure looks like they are delaying sending my messages in hopes that I will renew to continue communicating with this guy. I called them and they did extend my subscription by a week, but they can't undo the damage of this guy thinking I'm not that interested because it took me 5 days to get back to him. The woman on the phone said they had never seen this happen before with a message being sent days later. I don't believe that for a second. I told her I thought it was suspicious and also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. What I really want to know is has anyone else had this happen to them??? |
