Pretty much a waste of time and money. I had almost no matches within 25 miles, and the few who did pop up as 'compatible' within my search zone were exactly the kinds of girl I avoid: party girls, unambitious types, chongas, etc. So why was I being matched with these people? Simple: the personality profile. It was so far off it's not even funny. It profiled me as a wild extrovert who wears his heart on his sleeve, loves to get down and party, and thrives on being the center of attention. Hah. NONE of my answers to their ridiculous personality test questions should have suggested such a personality type. I'm a reserved introvert who can't stand large parties or craziness - I'll take coffee and conversation any day to clubbing!

Regardless, I tried to make the best of it and went on a few dates which ultimately led nowhere. I got the feeling the girls I went out with were accurately profiled, very outgoing girls looking for a like-minded guy to go out clubbing with. Oh well, that's not me, and unfortunately you're stuck with your personality profile and whoever eharmony deems compatible with you.
