A Review of True.comWrite your own review of True.com! Reviewed By: Erin Location: NJ Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: September 07, 2009 DO NOT USE TRUE.COM!! Here's my story. I signed up because they were running a special for like 3 days free a while back.... over a year a go actually... but they require a credit card and after the 3 days, they pretty much count on people not remembering to cancel so they can bill their credit cards. Thats what i did, but it was fair enough because i did agree that if i didnt cancel within the 3 days that i would pay, but I cancelled as soon as possible. This morning I should have had $60 something on my card and when i tried to buy baby wipes, i got declined, so i called my bank and found out True.com had billed me early this morning. I was livid. It was 4am and their customer service lines were not open so i tried to log back into my account... I posted on my profile what had happened, and for anyone who reads it, not to pay for any services from them because it was a scam. Every time i did this, and it would go to get reviewed, true.com staff would fill my headline in with "hi" or "hello" and delete what i had to say. I sent them an email assuring them that if they didnt refund me every f*cking dime they have robbed me of, I would not hesitate to take them to court. When the lines were open, I called and the guy on the phone confirmed that I cancelled my membership in May of 2008. SO WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY THINK IT WAS OK TO BILL ME NOW, IN SEPTEMBER OF 2009????? AND WHY DID THEY STILL HAVE MY CREDIT CARD INFO ON FILE??????? |
