Let me ask you these questions before you make an Okcupid account: Are you a Indie/Emo-Scene kid? Are your tastes in movies, tv, books, and food on a level only a few can relate to? Do you make references to horrible Emo music or some book/indie movie? Do you think Questionable Content is a great webcomic? Do you need so much attention not even your partner can provide it for you? If you answered “no” to any of these questions, this is not the site for you. Depending on where you live, chances are you’re not going to click/date anyone. I used it when I lived a few minutes away from Philadelphia, and my matches consisted of Hipsters, or people who couldn't hold a decent conversation without being a jerk or a moron. People also love to brag about being geeks on their profiles for some reason (80 out of 100 profiles will mentioned something about being a nerd/geek). I wouldn’t use it for serious dating if you’re over 21-23, and even as a networking site you can do much better with Facebook.
