Just to be fair, I'm going to outright say it that through GE, I was married and then divorced in about three years. I also found out my ex only paid a few hundred while I paid about $3000. I did pay extra for a feature I never used and is no longer available, their Video Messages. Also after a couple of years, they contacted me in an attempt to get more money by having me update my pictures. I refused.

I do not like the idea of the lack of information before joining. I did it on impulse. I feel duped and if I had a chance to do it again, I would never have joined. I do admire the site's background check screening, but I can easily do that with my own contacts. Their search engine needs to be improved to filter out the Inactives. Honestly, without their Inactives listed, they would probably have about 40% less women in their database. But while that's a personal gripe, there aren't enough interested women from my experience. Out of approximately 50 tries, my ex was the ONLY one that answered back. While I don't consider myself ugly, I'm not your typical good-looking guy. And I think I would have had a better chance on a random street corner.
