A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: Shawna Location: Phoenix AZ Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: July 18, 2009 I just joined EH and so far I'm not impressed. I have had many "matches", two communications and some icebreakers. I wonder how it is they send you an email alerting you to your matches and when you go the site, you find 5 people have "closed" you and you never even saw them before. Oh and the reason they closed it was because of the physical distance is too great? WTH, some only lived a few miles away. If you can't make some sacrifice when dating, how do you expect to meet your soulmate? If(this is a big IF)you do find them and get married, will you be too friggin lazy to make sacrifices then? One complaint I have with men on these sites...please use current photos. I have had 2 dates with men who obviously uploaded pics from before Y2k. C'mon do you honestly think you can pull that off for very long? The truth comes out and when it does, you look like a deceitful fool. I would rather date an average looking guy but who doesnt try to misprepresent himself. I would love to meet one man who is confident(not cocky), not insecure about his looks and doesnt try to be something he isnt. If you can't feel good about yourself, no matter how attractive you are(or arent), it doesnt matter. I'll take a plain guy with an honest sexy personality anytime. In summary, I think most online dating sites are full of deceit. It is a numbers game. I will probably forgo this whole internet dating thing entirely and stick to a 1 in a million chance meeting somehow somewhere. People, save your money. Its a jungle out there. |
