very upset with this site. so i made a profile to search the site and see if it was for me, and started a free trial to explore more, and that was a HUGE mistake. when i called customer service to cancel the trial before i got charged, they were SO incredibly pushy. i insisted and insisted that i was absolutely sure i wanted to cancel, and i found it incredibly hard to get off of the phone without another 2 week trial. i didn't use it at all during that session, and when i called back, yet again they were TERRIBLE. i somehow got out of it and laid the trying internet dating to rest for several months. logging in later to see if i wanted to try again, their messages were deceptive, and made you think you had to "reactivate" your account to run a search and open your profile. i read all of what was on the page, and confused, clicked a button and accessed my account. a couple days later now i have a $54 charge on my credit card. i called and complained and at least they gave me a refund, but not for the whole charge. totally my fault, but combined with a completely ridiculous site, turned into a disaster. shows me for actually trying internet dating.
