A Review of Great ExpectationsWrite your own review of Great Expectations! Reviewed By: Stephen I Location: Charlotte, NC Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: May 21, 2009 I am an informed and intelligent consumer. I find that very few satisfied customers take the time to tell others, so I find it unfair to read the only the few disgruntled reviews of people who have had a bad experience with Great Expectations. Yes, it is a company that sells a service. They do employ seasoned salespeople who try to exact full payments from every client that walks in the door. This is the same with any business. Savvy consumers with good negotiating skills can garnish several discounts off of the quoted prices, however. Funny how so many people never even bother to ask for discounts from this company. Those same people write in to these sites to complain about the "lack" of service received for the money that they paid. This is equivalent to buying a gym membership and then never using it. After months of sitting on the sofa in front of the television, these people want to complain that the gym did not do their job in "helping" the consumer to lose weight. Great Expectations does not do all the work for you. They provide tools and resources for the consumer to use to aid them in finding compatible dating candidates. It is up to the members to use these tools to contact the potential dates. The staff at their Charlotte, NC office is not only kind but also very helpful. They have gone out of their way to provide me superior service. I am very pleased with their service and the value of the resources for the money that I paid. You get out what you put in. I am a proactive person and fully expect to have a wonderful experience. The only reason my review is not five star is because it is VERY expensive to me, but this does help to limit the potential matches to those of means unlike the unlimited access to those online services posting profiles on free sites. What quality control would you get there? |
