Wow...interesting posts by the men.

I have been on and off Match for 6 years, and during that time I met two wonderful men...I had a long term relationship with each (one for 3 years and the other for 1 1/2 years). Though the relationships did not end in marriage, these guys were as good or better than anyone I could have met in a bar or some other social venue.

Men, please note that I write to guys and sometimes they don't respond....and it is likely because they do not see me as a fit (even though I am atractive, successful, nice, fun and in shape) ! I don't take the lack of response personally. Instead I realize that it is better to move on and find someone that adores me.

And, I have to add that I have run across more than one man on Match that pretended to want to have a relationship when they were really looking for a fling.

So...you guys are not alone in your disappointment at times. But, I must say that I think I would face these same challenges meeting people outside of match. Regardless, it is a numbers game and finding "the one" is not easy....there will always be posers, players, and insincere people where ever you go. You have to sort through it all and be tenacious to find the gem !

One more thing...I post a certain amount of income I am looking for and it is not because I am a gold digger....it is because I make a significant income and I am not interested in taking care of someone (nor do I expect anyone to take care of me).
