I give eHarmony the lowest rating because I tried it a year and a half ago and got matched with the most opposite guys I could possibly imagine being attracted to. They were shorter than me, and for some reason, a ton of over weight engineers that were holding 4' sock monkeys. I signed up again about 2 months ago and re-took the test, thinking that perhaps my frame of mind has changed a bit... again, poor results with the matches. I have not met anyone and the worst part about it, is that my account was to end on May 19th, and they charged another month's fee of $49.95 yesterday, on the 18th. I was planning on canceling today, the 19th, and so when I called they said they couldn't give me a refund because there was a 24 hour charge before the end date specified. Now I'm stuck with the service for another month. I will try to make the most of it, but it's hard not to take the icky matches personally... but after reading some of these reviews, it makes me feel better. It sounds as though many people get poor matches. I haven't met anyone who has married from eHarmony. 2 friends of mine cancelled their subscriptions recently as well. I'm going to keep an open mind, but it's hard when my matches are mediocre.
