A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: Bob Location: Northern Indiana Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: February 22, 2008 I have been curious, and thought I'd take advantage of the free communication weekend. It took longer than I expected to get through the questions, and I got a late start. Once I was done, I got several matches, most of whom were older. As far as the free communication, I was offered "guided" communication, which amounted to answering some multiple choice questions chosen by the other party. I could see that I would get nowhere in the amount of time left in the free period, so I didn't respond to any of the matches. I also received requests for communication from almost all of the matches, and I am sorry that they will not receive a reply. I have stopped matches, and taken down my photos, hoping that no one else will think I am an active subscriber with communication privileges. I would like to apologize to those who received my information. It was my intention to respond, but I didn't understand how the free communication was going to work, or that matches would start being made as soon as the questions were done. I expect many subscribers received a batch of matches last weekend, and wonder why they didn't get any responses. My initial rating is based on thinking their service is about average overall, but I didn't really get into it, and feel it is unlikely I will in the future. After filling out the questions, you can see what their impressions are, and I found that to be very interesting and mostly accurate. Whether or not that can be applied effectively to finding a mate, who knows? |
