A Review of Perfectmatch.comWrite your own review of Perfectmatch.com! Reviewed By: Nancy Location: Los Angeles CA Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: February 14, 2008 I've been on three different dating websites and Perfectmatch was by far the worst in terms of response. I believe that the profiles may be "real," but they are way outdated (inactive). I sent more than 30 e-mails over a four month period and NEVER received a response. I was also told to "be patient." On a different site, I actually met one of the same men I had written to on perfectmatch (where I'd gotten no response) and he told me that he hasn't been on that site for more than six months. So, it appears they keep profiles that are "inactive" to boost their numbers. Pretty frustrating. Two of the four "perfect" matches I was sent did respond, but were more 300 and 430 miles away, and we all agreed the distance was too great. The other two matches were between 250 and 300 miles, still too far. I requested matches under 200 miles away. When I contacted Perfectmatch, they were willing to extend my membership for two additional months, but why would I want that? If I'm writing away and no one ever answers, the point would be??? Thankfully, I am now dating someone that I did meet on match.com (no easy feat anyway) so for now at least, don't have to deal with all this. Good luck. Stay AWAY from Perfectmatch. |
