A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: Ruth Willowbark Location: midwest Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: December 29, 2007 I was very disappointed for the following reasons, eHarmony sent: 1. potential matches who were not members. No wonder they didn't respond. 2. potential matches who had no photos posted, even though I had set my preference to ONLY included matches with photos. Many of these were non-members as well. 3. potential matches who were completely out of my preferred age range. No offense to the active 70 year old, but come on, a 25 year age difference just isn't what I'm looking for. All in all, I felt eHarmony used my profile as a marketing tool more than a matching opportunity. I felt the site was dishonest. Even when I called customer service to inquire about my observations, they side stepped direct response to my questions by having scripted suggestions to respond with, e.g. "We notice you only have 3 pictures posted, we provide space for 12. Posting more pictures will increase your potential for matches." Live and learn. There's got to be a better way to find all those available good looking men that Oprah says are out there, eHarmony is not the way for sure. |
