A Review of eHarmonyWrite your own review of eHarmony! Reviewed By: ex- eharmer Location: wisconsin Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: December 18, 2007 I also had negative experiences. I was very clear which parameters were important to me and which were not- I am 5'10" and I stated that height was VERY important to me- but eharmony won't let you give a height range ( unlike match.com)- so I was sent men who were 5'3". Seriously! They were probably as upset to get me as a match! Almost every match I was sent was also on match.com and probably on other sites- the difference was that they might not stand out from the vast number of matches on other sites- But did get my attention on eharmony, if only because they were sent to me as one of 3 matches that day. Perhaps because they are fewer people on board and fewer matches I really felt like eharmony was just throwing anyone at me. And reading some of these reviews, I might have been the match sent to you ( I'm 54 and was sent matches who were 40 and wanted kids- really!). I guess eharmony just had to send anyone out. And lastly, the computer systems for eharmony seem ancient. Backspacing often got an error message , which required re-loggin in, where I was told I was "timed out" - (I had just been on eharmony seconds before). That required closing all my browser windows to get back , which was an inconvenience when I had other work-related windows open (and so would have to re-log into those). My advice? The same people are probably on the larger sites. Try those. |
