eHarmony is the only dating web site I've ever been on. Therefore, I can't compare their site to others. However, there are things about eHarmony which I believe are misleading. It takes forever to filled out their "in-depth" profile that asks questions about everything from a-z. You actually think this will weed out the matches not for you and get you matches more like-minded. Right? Nope. I love the outdoors, am athletic, love dogs and cats. Can't tell you how many fat, non-athletic, allergic to dogs and or cats matches I've had! Many of the profiles I read, we have little in common. Also, if eHarmony is always searching for new matches for you, why is it I get matched with someone that you can tell by reading their profile they've been on eHarmony for quite some time? The bright side...I've had over 900 matches in 2 1/2 years. The down side.....all 900+ matches are closed. Why do I stay on? I don't care about the money. And, all I need is that "one" match.....
