I joined eharmony in the past on one of those weekends that they had a free trial. Of course, I recieved an abundance of matches(right before the weekend was out) but didn't pursue it.

Three years later, I am still searching for someone whom I am compatible with. I don't have a problem meeting guys, I just have a problem meeting potential mates. So needless to say, I gave into a month's paid membership at eharmony. I received a total of SIX MATCHES. I had no idea I was a troll, until 2 matches closed me out after seeing my photos. One of whom had said in his profile that the most important thing he was looking for in a person was "physical beauty". I don't know that I would ever be attracted to someone as shallow...but he was sent as a match, so I tried to be "open-minded". One match accepted my Fast Track response but didn't respond to my emails after that and the other 3 didn't respond at all.

Now here is the best part. I was browsing through my friends' buddy list on Hi5 and WHOA!!! one of my matches is in my friend's profile as her friend. I recognized the picture as well as the name. You know I had to email him. He told me he was surprised that he was sent to me as a match because he had discontinued his membership a while back. Now of course, I start thinking...just how many of my SIX MATCHES were actually active members. Maybe only the 2 that closed me out.

Overall, my eharmony experience was a waste of hard earned money, precious time, and high expectations.
