I, too, think e-Harmony is a scam. I'm ashamed to admit that I actually tried it TWICE! I'm not certain what happens, but I think they show matches of persons who aren't signed up and who, therefore, can't respond.

Also, if you're still thinking of joining, be sure to uncheck the little box for automatic renewal at the end of the registration forms.
