i first used yahoo personals 3 years ago. i did meet someone and we dated for 6 months, but it took 3 months to meet her and there wasn't a single other connection before that one... what i remember from that experience was that most of the ads were either fake, or it was a girl who just wanted to browse. if you don't pay you can't write emails. i wish the site would let you know before you put up your money how many of the ads are able to write emails.

i just went back on to try again. it is the slowest website i have been on in 10 years, literally. it looks great once it loads, but it takes foooooooooooooooorever... and still, it does not show which of the girls are current so that they can email you back... i can tell about half of them are fake just by doing a quick run through.

someone please suggest a good site? i am keen to get back out there!
