A Review of Yahoo! PersonalsWrite your own review of Yahoo! Personals! Reviewed By: Mike Location: LA Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: March 07, 2007 It's already shady enough that yahoo uses it service to prey on lonely single people. Yes, you know what I mean - they sucker you into subscribing for their service, because hey, it's only $25 to send out a few emails, right? Then you find out that only a fraction of people can actually READ your emails, since they're not paying members. And naturally, yahoo doesn't let you see who's a paying subscriber and who isn't. Then yahoo continuously tries to auto-renew you until you actively cancel your account, and let me tell you, it's great fun trying to find out where that 'cancel subscription' button is located on their website. Now we have to deal with yahoo USING their former customers to add success stories to a public review board. Come on, yahoo, that's pathetic. Anyone can see that these reviews are blatant attempts to absorb more subscribers. Anyhow, if you do end up trying out online dating, keep in mind that the success rate is VERY low, but apparently yahoo will do anything to make you think otherwise. |
