A Review of Yahoo! PersonalsWrite your own review of Yahoo! Personals! Reviewed By: TRUTH Location: Texas Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: March 03, 2007 After reading these reviews, I found it best to tell the truth about how Yahoo Personals works. The outcome of your Yahoo Personals experience will vary, based on your gender, looks, luck, and goal. I found that it's best to know the truth about a service before you purchase a premium membership from Yahoo. If you're a decent looking women, then you should have no problem landing a few dates on Yahoo Personals. Provided that your goal is to date decent men and not something else. A woman who uses Yahoo Personals in hopes of finding some rich and attractive guy will have no luck. Also, women who use Yahoo Personals to just flirt and send emails to stroke their egos will tire of the site. If you don't come to Yahoo Personals with realistic expectation, then you'll be wasting your time and the time of the guys who email you. Things aren't so rosy for men on Yahoo Personals, In fact they can be really bad for most men. There are more than twice as many men on Yahoo Personals as women... So the pickings are slim. Most of the emails men send to women are ignored for a variety of reasons. Many men who have used Yahoo Personals have been know to send a hundred of emails before he gets a response from a woman. The fact is there just aren't enough women to go around on Yahoo Personals or any Internet personals website. Some men do find dates on Yahoo Personals but it's a rare case that usually mixed with either luck or skill. For anyone, Yahoo Personals won't work for you if you don't understand the basics of attracting people. If you choose to use this site you should have reasonable expectations on who you'll date, use proper grammer and correct spelling in your profile and emails, keep your personal problems to yourself, use quality profile pictures, be honest in your profile, and being serious about dating. Anyone who doesn't follow these guidelines of common sense (or at least the more serious parts) is meerly trolling Yahoo Personals, and it's always the trolls who ruin social interaction on the internet. |
