When I reflect back on my experience I can sympathize with many of the negative reviews. I would send messages to girls and wait....and wait....and wait....with no replies. In the beginning this type of rejection was tough. After the first month of paying for this service I wanted to cancel. In the beginning I would only message girls who posted a pic. One day I decided to look at some profiles who didn't have any pics. After messaging some of these girls I began to receive some replies back. I began to feel better about myself and my experience with the site. My outlook changed and I began to make friends with these some of these girls even if it didn't go anywhere romantically. It took me a year on yahoo personals before I actually met a girl that I connected with beyond the just friends stage. We've been together for 2 years now and will be getting married in October. I had many highs and lows during my year on the site. 3 out of 5 is my rating.
