A Review of Yahoo! PersonalsWrite your own review of Yahoo! Personals! Reviewed By: Sandi Location: Grand Rapids, MI Sex: Female Rating: ***** Date: February 21, 2007 I'm not sure why you all feel the reviews are bogus. Mine is not. I wrote a success story to Yahoo Personals and customer service wrote right back to me congratulating us on finding each other and put this link in the email to give a review here. So don't be so hasty to judge, because you truely don't know. To be honest, I never in a million years thought I'd find the man I'm with right now at Yahoo Personals. I am a Christian woman and I have belonged to several "on-line" dating sites, have purchased memberships at times and was truely getting fed up with seeing the same people at all the different sites. I would only join if there was someone I felt I wanted to get to know better. My focus was Christian sites (LoveandSeek is the lowest cost I've seen and didn't feel I was getting ripped off. 9.95 for one month), and happen to one day put my profile on Yahoo because I felt there were more local people on it. I didn't care for the constant email from men 1000 miles away from me. I didn't join Yahoo because I hate spending the money to just "look". But then a gentleman wrote to me that was a Christian from Grand Rapids, and I was in shock to read his profile in that what he said was exactly what I was looking for. As it turns out, we knew each other from several years before. We briefly worked together for a few months. I was skeptical at first thinking he contrived his profile to fit mine, but now that we've been together, it's all very true and we are a perfect fit. I told Yahoo that I didn't ever think I'd find "the" man at their site..lol. Anyway, I did join Yahoo for one month when Jim emailed me. It can work if you are patient and cautious. I've met a lot of men that are just plain horney and want to get laid (UGH). True gentelmen eh? Anyway, hats off to YP, I'm done looking, and am glad to be done with the online dating scene! I only gave 4 stars to YP because their pricing is high in my estimation. |
