A Review of Friend FinderWrite your own review of Friend Finder! Reviewed By: Tom Holzel Location: Boston Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: February 07, 2007 I was part of a study of the people who frequent AFF. It was published at velocitypress.com, and shows that--like anything to do with sex--it is a very sleazy business. Worst of all are all the fake "reviews" of AFF--either barely disguised high praise by some AFF shill--or the opposite by someone paid by a competing site to bad-mouth them. NEVERTHELESS, The net-net is if you are anywhere near human-looking, and go after women who would find you attractive in real life--you can't help but hook up and you'll probably get laid. But it won't happen overnight, and it you're 50 years old, don't sulk if none of the 18-year old chicks ever respond. Having said that, it is true that in the study, nearly all of the above 39-year old women used photos that were taken 5 to 10 years ago, and most of those cleverly disguised their real weight. A large percentage of these women are short and fat--but some are great looking. A lot of people scream hysterically that the site is complete rip-off, all the women are fakes, etc., etc. I take these people to be Christian fundamentalists outraged that sex is going on. But the biggest thing to watch out for are the preditors--women out to blackmail married men, women who are diseased but claim to be "Disease free and tested regularly," and--surprisingly--women pretending to be married who are actually single, separated, divorced or about to divorce who are looking for their next meal ticket. If you're married and looking for "a discreet affair," watch out for these babes who, having screwed up their own marriage, are ready to do a real job on yours. |
