I am a 34 yr old female that was at first very skeptical about online dating. I decided to try yahoo personals and I am very glad that I did.

Before I met my match Brett, I had received about 200 reviews from men that viewed my profile. Some of them would send ice breakers asking me if I want to be contacted and would never get back to me after I would reply "ok" to them. I started to cancel my subscribtion, because it didn't seem like I was hearing from the right men. Most of these men had photos and some did not; however Brett did not have a photo and normally I would not reply or contact the men that did not have photos, but there was something about Brett that really caught my attention.

Brett sent me an email asking me if it would be ok for him to contact me and once again I replied "yes". I had read his profile and was very impressed. Not only did he contact me once, but he contacted me again and again and again. I new he was the one for me. Brett and I met face to face in Fort Walton Beach Florida for the first time on January 17,2007. Thats when I finally got to see him in person. I was impressed. Brett and I talked online for about a week before actually coming together to meet each other. We exchanged phone numbers online and began talking by phone too. I can go on and on. I can now say that I am very glad that I did not cancel my subscribtion sooner because I would have missed out on meeting a real ginuine man. Together we are like kids in a candy store, happy and overwhelmed with joy. I call him my night and shinning armor. Thanks again yahoo personals for bringing us together.
