This site does not even deserve the one star rating-that is way too much positive promotion.

I signed up to take advantage of the free 7-day trial. After being bombarded with "winks" (which I really couldn't figure out since I didn't post a photo), I finally decided see who was checking me out. 99.9% had no photo and didn't write any sort of message of interest. I later found out from someone else's "wink" that true.com sends them out without your consent! Mind blowing, but not even the half of it.

After three days I thought I had enough emails and, since it wasn't the right site for me, decided to cancel. I did so online and declined their 30-day trial to keep me there.

Earlier today I reviewed my bank statement and not only did I see a charge from true for $49.99 but another for $.99! I called customer service and was REPEATEDLY TOLD by the customer service rep (Cedric) that the terms and conditions of cancelation state one must CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE to cancel-even if you are canceling online! I was also told that the online cancelation section stated I needed to call and I disagreed, then requested to speak to his supervisor. She (Katie) too would not credit my account, but instead decided to walk me through the cancelation process to show me where it said I would need to call. The page that brought up the "call true.com to cancel" page did not come up on my computer(did you know it won't if you have dialup? Remember, that is not an reason for them to refund your money). The site instead brought me back to the home page. Since it came up on Supervisor Katie's, she emailed the page to me and said, "Well anyway, it is in your Terms and Conditions that you agreed to call to cancel before providing your credit card information".

Needless to say, I am livid. They didn't offer a full refund, didn't offer a partial refund, didn't suggest a one-month trial with no renewal. No "TRUE" customer service. Just repeated, "It's in the Terms and Conditions". Oh, here's the best part. $49.99 per month for listings with no picks, winks not sent by the "True" members, and the $.99 charge - COACHING!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I sent two quite nasty emails and plan on not only writing the company CEO but will pursue the matter through my banking institution, the media and most likely, legally. This company needs to be shut down for its poor business practices.
