I joined True about a year ago. It is free for women so I thought it was worth a try. For the first few months it was the only service I used and i would say that in the first 8 months I got 1 response every 2 weeks or so. I had some guys wink at me after they had exchanged several email with me. Did they not remember already making contact with me? ALso every guy seem to live "only 1200 miles from me" wow that is close. I am not interested in meeting someone accross the country as i am looking for someone to go out with, not a penpal. Anyway i had made search radius at 50 miles or so and i live i a very large city so i don't believe that there aren't any guys in this city. The occasional local response would be some arrogant guy.

Oddly, this past January I began receiving about one one response a day. Odd, since my ad hasn't been updated or changed in any way. Now they all live in my area. And strangely two of them live a block or two away from me. This might be coincidence, but it just seems strange. I have yet to find anyone i want to meet as many times I am matched up and it says "he might be the one" this is based on the fact that his profile is blank, no specified answers to anything. If he gives no info, how do i know "he is the one"? Any I have found better luck on another site. No sparks yet, but at least i am getting consistant response in my area.
