I've been thinking about joining eHarmony and happened to see this website--- needless to say, the reviews on eHarmony are making me think more than twice about whether to try it out.

I've been a member of Christian Cafe on and off for about 3 years... Reading some of the reviews for eHarmony made me realize that I've had really good experiences with Christian Cafe. There's a lot of flexibility in searching for your own "matches" and it's very clear when other people haven't been on the site recently. I've found a few of the gimmicks annoying ("winks" for one) but there are usually ways of opting out of those. Of course there's always the issue of people not being truthful in their profiles but I have to say that I've met some really great guys through Christian Cafe.

As far as Christian Cafe being honest in their business practices, I had one problem with my membership being auto-renewed without my prior knowledge-- but when I complained Christian Cafe gave me a refund along with an email apologizing for the mistake.

Oh-- so why was I thinking about joining eHarmony? To be honest, now I'm not sure. :)
