I'm a (50's) middle-aged woman who has tried, on & off, Match/Cupid/ now Yahoo. Had some interesting dates from all. I am smart, cute, talented, secure, VERY "young" physically and mentally, and have usually found younger men more compatible(physically esp) but have dated older. "Older" (as well as same age) usually turned out to be rather too "set in their habits/ways", and physically not "into" my interests. So? Where is she going with this? Well...I have observed (esp on Yahoo/Match) that most of the male profiles in my age group, and a few years younger, state they are searching for "Women-30-40". HELLO? I may be older, but believe me...I find it difficult to meet men able to keep up with ME...libido and interests! Yet they seem to be looking for pre-40 yr olds? I don't get it? Some Hot-39 yr old is going to be happy to sit around Sunday while he is glued to the TV? Or Saturday when he is off on the links for the day? And note...many of these same men post their(usually large) incomes. It makes me wonder if they are attempting to encourage contact thru income...and that seems sad. (JMHO but Income should never be posted nor matter.) Perhaps someone could start a Younger Men/Older Women dating site? LOL!
