Date.ca does not deserve any stars. I give it ZERO stars, if it were a choice... I was "forced" to subscribe to it to be able to read "new mail" that I had received. I was disapointed that it was just one instant message that someone sent, and even more disapointed that the conversation went nowhere... I haven't renewed my subscription since, and apparently have 4 messages waiting in my inbox. I'd love to look at them, but I'm not going to pay the insane fee just to see what's in there. You have to subscribe to send messages, and you have to subscribe to read and reply to messages. It wouldn't be so bad if they allowed you to read your messages for free, but that's not what they do. Also, they mess up your profile, and delete chunks of it so the next time you check on it, it makes no sense. date.ca, and it's clone americansingle.com are not worth wasting your time, and not at all worth wasting money on.
